Railroad bridge in Chihuahua, Mexico

Railroad bridge in Chihuahua, Mexico

A single-track railroad circles around a steep, tree-covered hill. A bridge crosses a river bed that has a thin stream of water. Chihuahua is the largest state in Mexico and shares a border with the United States. The largest city in the state is Ciudad Juarez, which is known for it's manufacturing industry. The state is named for the Chihuahua desert, though much of the state is actually covered in the leafy forests pictured here.
